This was Lexie's last year of Van Guard since she is aging out. It has been really fun to go and watch her perform but we sure will be glad to have her back during the summers. This year I went up with my mom and dad and stayed overnight in Ogden, then we were up bright and early to watch them practice. We got to eat lunch with her and visited while she ate her dinner. We had a lot of fun watching.
The drums were a little scary so they had to go investigate.

Tyson met us during the practice and Bailey was not about to let him out of her sight. It had been a long week without him.
Then after dinner with Cory and Shayla we all went to the performance.
Christian was amazed at the drumming.
They weren't so pleased with their costumes this year. The show was Music of the Starry Night, so they had the Starry Night on pajama-like outfits.
This year she was on saber, rifle, flag, hoop, and dance. She did a great job and we are so glad we got to go to it all.
